Our office is tucked away in Model Town, specifically in Pandu Nagar here in Kanpur. If you are familiar with the 117/H-1/361 area, that is where we are located. Kanpur is a city that never really stops moving, and being in the construction business here keeps us on our toes all the time. Asthana Construction Private Limited is basically just a group of us who know the local streets and how things actually get built around here. We spend a lot of time dealing with the usual stuff like labor issues, materials, and the unpredictable weather we get in this part of Uttar Pradesh. It is not a glamorous job at all. You end up with dust on your shoes most days of the week. We chose to set up in Model Town because it is central for us and easy to get to. We handle various building projects, and most of our day is spent coordinating between different sites. Sometimes the logistics in Pandu Nagar can be a bit of a headache with the traffic, but we have lived here long enough to figure it out. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that writing our words. We just talk to people plainly and keep things simple. When a project starts, we stay on it until it is finished. It is hard work, and the days can be very long, especially when deadlines are tight. But seeing something go from a drawing to an actual structure in Kanpur is why we keep at it.
