Adra Metals Export And Import Private Limited is based right at 465, Safipur. We are located near the Rama Devi Chauraha, which is a very busy intersection in Kanpur. You can’t miss the Shree Jagdamba service station nearby; it’s a big landmark for us. Working in metals means we deal with a lot of weight and a lot of noise. The yard gets busy with trucks coming in and out of Kanpur Dehat. It’s a bit of a trek from the main city center sometimes, but we like it out here where there’s a bit more room to move the heavy stuff around. The office is just a small building on the site where we handle all the export and import documents. We have a few computers that usually work, and a lot of ledgers that we still use because it feels safer that way. The air around Safipur can be a bit thick with exhaust and dust from the road, but you get used to it after a week or two. We don't spend much on decorations. It's more about the metal and the machinery than how the office looks. Every morning we start with a quick check of the gate and then get straight into the manifests. If you come by, you’ll probably hear the clanking of metal or the sound of a diesel engine idling nearby. It’s just the daily grind for us here.
