Aditya Provision Store.

Our place is called Aditya Provision Store and you can find us at 693/S-A on Rajiv Nagar Road in Kanpur. We are pretty close to the Ghunghat Marriage Hall, which means we get really busy whenever there is a wedding or a big function going on. People run in to buy last-minute stuff like batteries, tapes, or extra snacks for the guests. Most of the time, though, it is just the local families from the neighborhood coming in for their monthly rations. I have got shelves full of oils, soaps, and lentils. It is not a fancy store by any means. The floor is a bit uneven and the paint is peeling in some corners, but it is a working shop. I spend a lot of my time checking the dates on the milk packets and making sure the bread is fresh. Running a provision store in Kanpur means dealing with a lot of dust and heat, but you get used to it after a while. I try to keep things stocked up so no one has to go too far for their basic needs. Sometimes the kids from the nearby houses come in just for a single chocolate or a packet of chips. It is a lot of small transactions that fill up the day. I am usually here from early morning until late at night. It is tiring work, but it is what I know how to do. Rajiv Nagar is a decent place to be.
