The Innovations part of our name makes it sound like we’re some kind of high-tech lab, but mostly we are just trying out different ways to package or mix our beverages. The building is an older one and we have to fix the plumbing every now and then. We have some basic machinery for the bottling and a small area where we keep our records. Krishna Nagar is a busy neighborhood so there is always someone walking by or a scooter beeping outside. We don't have a fancy lobby or a person to greet you at the door. If you come by, someone will probably just look up from their work and ask what you need. It gets very hot in the summer here, so we try to get most of the heavy lifting done early in the morning before it becomes unbearable. We are just a local Kanpur team trying to keep the business running and making sure our beverages are decent enough for the market. It’s not a glamorous life, but it keeps us busy and the work is steady enough for now. We like it here in this neighborhood.
