3 Brothers Men

Our shop is in the basement of Clyde House, which is right on Mall Road in Kanpur. It is shop number 46. Mall Road is a very famous place, and we are right opposite the old Heer Palace cinema. Because we are in the basement, you have to walk down a few steps to get to us. It’s a bit quieter down here than it is on the street level. We called it 3 Brothers Men because there are three of us who usually work here. We have a simple setup with a few chairs and some basic tools. The floor is tiled and easy to sweep, which is good because we get a lot of customers. We do all the usual stuff like hair cutting, beard trimming, and head massages. The atmosphere is very casual. We don't wear uniforms; we just wear our regular clothes and talk to whoever comes in. Men come in and talk about cricket or the local politics while we work. We have a small TV in the corner, but the signal isn't always great. The lights are those long white tubes that make everything look very bright. It’s a practical place for a man to get cleaned up without spending too much money or time. We don't have fancy coffee or music, just a place to sit and get your hair done. We work long hours, usually from morning until late evening, just like everyone else on Mall Road.
