Tamanna Food Products

Our small business, Tamanna Food Products, is based in the main market of Pokhrayan, specifically at Plot No. 477. We are right near the Bharat Gas Agency, so that makes it easy for people to find us. We deal with different types of food products that we pack and prepare right here. The building we are in is a bit on the older side, but we do our best to keep everything tidy and clean inside. Every morning starts with us checking the new arrivals to make sure they are good enough to sell. Since we are dealing with food, we have to be quite careful about how we store everything. The market is always loud and full of energy, especially on the weekends when everyone comes out to shop. We only have a few local people working with us, so it’s a very small operation. We do most of the packing by hand, which takes a lot of time, but it feels more personal that way. You can always smell the grains and spices when you walk in. We don't really do any advertising or marketing; we just rely on people seeing us in the market. Sometimes the electricity goes out for hours and we just have to sit and wait, which is frustrating but part of the life here. We aren't some big factory, just a local spot in Pokhrayan. We just focus on getting the items out to people while they are still fresh. It’s a simple life and a simple business for us.
