Prag Narayan Hospital

Prag Narayan Hospital is situated in Awas Vikas, Lucknow. Being in Awas Vikas means we are right in the middle of a residential colony, so we see a lot of families. Lucknow is a big city, but this little corner feels a bit more like a community. The hospital building has been here for a while. It’s got several floors and a lot of different areas for different things. We don't have any of those fancy modern lobbies you see in the movies. Ours is just a plain room with a counter and some places for people to wait. We use a lot of paper for our records, so there are folders and files stacked up in the back office. The staff at Prag Narayan Hospital are just regular folks who live around here too. We spend our shifts checking on people and making sure the rooms are ready. Sometimes the power goes out and the generator kicks in with a loud hum. Everyone is used to it by now. The street outside is usually lined with parked cars and scooters. It can be a bit of a squeeze to get through sometimes. We just focus on the work inside the walls of Awas Vikas. It’s a practical setup, meant for the people of this area. We keep the floors mopped and the lights on, and that’s about it. It’s not glamorous, but it is what we do every day here in Lucknow.
