Navjeevan Hospital

Our place, Navjeevan Hospital, is situated in the village of Bali Patti, which is in Rani Gaon near the Amritpur Tehshil. It is a rural spot, so things move a bit slower than they do in the big cities, but we still stay plenty busy. The hospital is a plain building that stands out a bit among the houses and fields. Most days, you’ll see people arriving on motorcycles or walking from the nearby villages. We get started early because folks in the village don’t like to wait around once the sun is up. The staff here is like a small family; we eat our lunch together in the back when we get a spare minute. We don't have fancy equipment in every corner, but we have what we need to take care of the people who live out here. There isn't any corporate polish to how we run things. If the floor is dirty, someone grabs a mop. If a lightbulb goes out, we change it. It’s practical and honest work. Being near Amritpur means we get people from all over the Tehshil coming in. We don't have a big marketing budget or any slogans. We just provide a place for people to go when they need a doctor or a nurse. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we just take it one day at a time, keeping the doors open for whoever needs us.
