We are located out in Baksanda, right near where Chandra Prabha Devi lives. It’s a quiet village in the Akbarpur block. Most days here are pretty much the same, just keeping track of land work and talking to folks about what they need built. We’ve been around this part of the panchayat for a while now. People know where the office is because it’s a small place. We don’t have a big fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It is just a spot where we sit down and look over papers. Sometimes the weather makes things slow, especially when the rains come through the Tola. We handle a lot of the local paperwork that comes with developing land around here. It isn't always easy work, and there are a lot of details to get right with the local rules. We just try to get the jobs finished so people can move on with their plans. Most of the time, someone is just stopping by to ask a question about a plot or a boundary line. It’s honest work that keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down. Being in a village like Baksanda means you know your neighbors and they know you. We don’t spend much time on big talks. We just focus on the sites we are working on currently. It feels good to see something actually get built in your own backyard. That is pretty much how we spend our days here.
