Xay Furniture Inturiores &Wood Collections Kannur,Kerala

Our workshop is down on Peryakovil Road in Azhikkal, which is in the Kannur district of Kerala. We spend our days surrounded by wood and the smell of polish. It’s a dusty place because of all the sawing and sanding we do. We have been making furniture and wood collections here for quite some time. It is not a showroom with bright lights and air conditioning. It is a working shed where you can see the shavings on the floor. We mostly use local wood and traditional tools, though we have some machines to help with the heavy lifting. The rain in Kerala can be heavy, so we spend a lot of time making sure the wood stays dry under the roof. We are just a group of people who know how to work with our hands. People from the village come by to ask for a chair or a table to be fixed, or to order something new for their homes. We don't have a website or a sales team. We just sit on our stools, drink tea, and work on the timber. It is loud when the saws are running, but it is good honest work. You can find us right near the post office area. We enjoy the smell of fresh sawdust in the mornings before it gets too hot for heavy work.
