Vastra

Vastra is right in the thick of things at the Main Market near Ambli Peth. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets. Especially during festival times or even just on a regular Monday morning. The shop is tucked into the market where everyone goes for their daily stuff. It’s not a big corporate space, just a local spot where we do our thing. We spend most of our time dealing with the locals who have been coming to this market for years. The noise from the street is always there, people shouting and scooters honking. You just get used to it. Sometimes the rain makes the market lanes a bit messy, but people still come out anyway. We keep the shop open early and stay until late most days of the week. There isn’t a fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just shelves of clothes and a counter where we talk to people. Being near Ambli Peth means we see a lot of the same faces every week. It feels more like a community than just a business district. We don't do much advertising. People just know where we are because we’ve been here. It’s a simple setup. We focus on getting through the stock and making sure the shop looks decent enough for whoever walks in. It’s a lot of work but it’s what we know. We like the vibe of the market even if it's messy sometimes.
