Udumbunthala Syndicate

We run the Udumbunthala Syndicate out of Nandhanam Nivas in Chirakkuthazhe. It’s located in Thottada, which is a quiet part of Kannur. Being in Kerala, we get a lot of rain, but the office stays dry enough. It’s basically a house that we use for our work. People usually just call it the Nandhanam Nivas place when they're looking for us. We handle a variety of things here, mostly coordinating with local folks. It's a small team, and we all know each other well. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed most days. We don't have a big sign outside or a front desk with a receptionist. If you come by, you'll probably just see us sitting around the main table working. It's a very local operation. We like being in Thottada because it's away from the main city noise. The address might seem long, but once you get to Chirakkuthazhe, everyone can point you the right way. We've been here for a good while. Our days are filled with sorting out different tasks for the syndicate. Sometimes we have tea and talk about the upcoming week. It’s just how we do things. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It’s a simple setup for a simple group. The garden around Nandhanam Nivas gets a bit overgrown in the monsoon, but it’s nice to look at from the window. We have a dog that sometimes barks when the mail comes, so don't be surprised if you hear him. The office table is actually an old dining table we repurposed. It’s solid wood and holds all our files perfectly.
