Nmi Exports

Nmi Exports operates out of the Nmi Building in the Thana area of Kannur. It’s a well-known spot in this part of town. The building is our base for everything we send out. Kannur has a lot of trading history, and we’re just another part of that local story. Our office is on one of the floors, filled with desks, computers, and stacks of folders that never seem to go away. It’s not very fancy, just a place where we sit and talk to clients or organize transport for the week. The windows look out over the street, so we see the daily life of Thana moving below us. Exporting involves a lot of waiting and then a lot of rushing at the last minute. We spend hours making sure every detail is right on the forms before anything leaves the warehouse. The staff here are locals who know the area well. We don't have a receptionist in a uniform or a lobby with a fountain. You just walk in and see us working. Sometimes we have tea together in the afternoon to catch a break and talk about things. The phone rings a lot, usually someone asking about a container or a price. We just give it to them straight without any fluff. There’s no need for big marketing talk when you’re just trying to move goods from point A to point B. It’s a steady job in a busy town. We’ve been in this building for quite some time now, and it feels like home.
