Thalassery Crane Service

We are down on Pier Road. Thalassery Crane Service is just a small operation located right near the water. Being so close to the pier, we deal with a lot of stuff coming off boats or moving around the docks throughout the day. It’s a salty environment and the air can be heavy, especially in the humid months. We have a couple of cranes that we use for various local jobs around the harbor. Sometimes it’s construction work, other times it’s moving heavy equipment for the local shops or fixing up parts of the pier. The work depends a lot on the weather and the tide. If the wind is too high or there is a storm coming in, we can't do much at all. I’ve spent most of my life working around these docks. It’s a simple business without much fuss. We don't have a big team, just a few guys who have been doing this for a long time and know what they are doing. We know the machines inside and out. The road by the pier is usually busy with fishmongers, carts, and tourists, so we have to be very careful when moving the big gear around. We don't do any big marketing or have a sales team. People just know to come find us if they need something lifted. I spend my afternoons greasing the joints of the cranes and making sure everything is in working order for the next day's tasks. It’s a loud, greasy job but it’s what we know.
