Being in Kerala, we get all the usual heat and rain while we work on our development projects. It’s a local business, and KPK House is where everything happens for us. We don't have a big glass office in a city center; we work from this house instead. It makes things feel a bit more relaxed, I suppose. People in Kannur usually know the Kaivelikal area well enough. We spend a lot of time discussing plans and looking at different sites around the region. It’s mostly just us handling the paperwork and making sure things move along as they should. There’s no fancy reception area or a person in a suit waiting for you. It is just a place where we get the building and development work done. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy when things are busy, but that is just how it goes for us. We like being in this part of Kannur because it is where we are from. It’s a quiet enough spot most of the time, which helps when we need to focus on technical drawings or site permits. We are just a local group trying to do the work for the projects we take on. It’s a simple operation really and that is how we like it.
