Taluk Hospital

Taluk Hospital sits right in the middle of Peringome. If you look for the Peringome Post Office you will find us just a short walk away. It is a local place where the neighborhood comes when someone has a fever or needs a checkup. The building has been here for a long time and looks like any other public facility in this part of the country. Every morning there is a bit of a crowd as people arrive early to get their names on the list. We have benches in the hallway where folks wait their turn. It is not a quiet place especially when it gets crowded. The nurses and the staff are always moving from one room to another to keep things going. We handle the basic medical stuff that every village needs. There are no fancy decorations or soft chairs here. It is just a functional building for health. We don't have any big mission statements on the walls. It is just about getting through the day and seeing all the patients who show up.
