Kachu's

At Kachu's, we are based in Syed Nagar, which is part of Taliparamba. It’s a relatively quiet area compared to the main town center, but we still get a decent amount of people walking by. Our shop is just a regular local spot where we do our daily work. There isn’t much to say about the building itself; it’s just a standard storefront like the others on this street. We spend most of our time inside, getting things ready or talking to the neighbors who drop in for a chat. Taliparamba has a certain feel to it, and Syed Nagar is a big part of that for us. We’ve stayed here because it’s where we started and it feels right. The space is a bit small, so we have to be careful about where we put everything so we don’t trip over things. It’s mostly just one main room with some storage in the back. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who handle everything from opening up in the morning to locking the shutters at night. Sometimes the power goes out or the rain is really heavy, and we just sit and wait it out. It’s not a complicated life here at Kachu’s. We just do what needs to be done and try to keep the place tidy for whoever comes in next. Syed Nagar is a friendly place where people know each other, so it’s easy to feel at home while we work.
