Living and working in Kannur is a bit different from the big cities. We are based out here in the district, specifically in the 670571 area. The air is better, but the rain can be a real challenge when it starts. We handle our structural work from a small office that stays pretty cool because of the trees nearby. It’s not a high-rise building or anything like that. Just a simple place where we can think and draw. We work with a lot of local people and understand how things are built in this part of Kerala. Sometimes we have to travel out to sites, which is a nice break from the desk. We don't have a big team, just a few people who have been doing this for a long time. Everything feels a bit slower here, which is fine by us. We get the work done without much fuss. If you come by, we’d probably offer you some tea or water. Our office is filled with old project folders and some measuring tools. It’s a bit messy, but we know where everything is. We don't bother with fancy presentations. We just show people what we’ve drawn and explain how it stays together. It’s been a steady life here. We just want to keep doing the same thing, day after day, and making sure the buildings are solid and everyone is happy with the results of our labor.
