Our office is located in a place called Aswathi, over in Punnad near Iritty in the Kannur district. It’s a bit of a drive to get here, but it's a nice part of Kerala. We run Sea Queen Shipping Services from this location. We aren't right by the water, but we spend our days dealing with everything that happens out at sea. It’s a lot of coordinating with ports and making sure the documentation is correct. The office is small and tucked away, which makes it a quiet place to work compared to the busy shipping docks. We have a few computers and some old maps on the wall. My family has been in this area for a long time, so people around Punnad know where to find us. We don't have a big corporate team, just a handful of us who know the shipping business. Every day is a mix of phone calls to agents and checking on vessel schedules. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow, which can be frustrating when we have deadlines, but we manage. We aren't into big marketing campaigns. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for years. We just try to keep things organized and make sure no one’s cargo gets stuck somewhere it shouldn't be. It’s steady work, and we enjoy being based here in our local community instead of a big city office.
