Salt Consultancy Services is run from the Pulpel House in Cherikode.P.O., over in the Kannur District. It’s more of a home-based thing than a big corporate office. We deal with salt-related consulting, which sounds specific because it is. We’ve lived in Cherikode for a long time, so we know the area and the people well. There isn't a lot of fluff here. We just sit down at the table and look over the figures and the plans. It’s quiet work, mostly thinking and writing things out. We don’t have any glossy brochures or sales teams. Most of our work comes from people hearing about us through word of mouth. Being in Kannur District gives us a good base to work from. We aren't trying to be the biggest consultancy around. We just want to provide honest advice based on what we know. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook, and other days it’s quite peaceful. We just take it as it comes. The Pulpel House is easy enough to find if you’re looking for it. We are just regular folks with a bit of specialized knowledge, trying to make a living in our own town. No one here is a marketing expert. We just know our subject and we share that with the people who ask. It’s a small, practical operation that keeps us busy enough without needing to be flashy or over-the-top. That is how we like to operate.
