Salisons Corner Shop Private Limited

Our little shop is located at XIII-449 in the Pallikkunnu area of Kannur. We’ve always called it a corner shop because that’s exactly what it feels like. It’s a small space, but we pack it full of everyday items. We aren't part of any big national chain. We’re just a local business that’s been here for the people in this neighborhood. Most of our day is spent talking to customers and moving boxes around. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s honest work. We don't have fancy lighting or air conditioning that freezes you out. It’s just a normal shop where you can pick up some milk or a packet of biscuits. The Kannur Corporation area is always changing, but we try to stay a constant for the folks who live here. We know who likes what and we try to keep those things in stock. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late because of the traffic, and we just have to wait it out. That’s just part of the deal. We don't try to impress anyone with big promises. We just open the door every morning and do our best to help whoever comes in. It’s a quiet life, mostly. If you’re in Pallikkunnu, you’ve probably walked past us many times. We’re just that shop on the corner where you get your daily supplies and maybe have a quick chat before heading home. It works for us and the neighbors too.
