ROYAL TRAVANCORE NIDHI LIMITED

We are based out of Building Number 28 in Ward II of Timiri. This is in the Alakkode and Taliparamba area of Kannur. It’s a beautiful part of Kerala, though the hills make for a bit of a long drive sometimes. Royal Travancore Nidhi Limited is our official name, but the office itself is quite modest. We have a simple setup with basic wooden furniture and a lot of paper records. Most of our day is spent talking to the local people who come in from the surrounding villages. They usually have questions about their accounts or need help with some forms. We aren't a big firm with a lot of departments. It’s just a few of us doing everything from cleaning the floor to managing the accounts. Kannur people are known for being straightforward, and we try to be the same. We don’t use any complicated business talk. We just explain things simply and get the paperwork done. In the afternoons, it gets quiet and we sometimes just watch the rain or the people passing by on the street. It’s a very local business, and we like it that way. We have been in this building for some time now and most people in the ward know where to find us if they need anything. We just keep things moving and try to stay organized without making much of a fuss. It is a very normal way to work.
