Regal Basics

Regal Basics is based in India House, which is located in Thilannore. Our mail goes through the Thazhe Chovva post office. It is a quiet part of the area, which we like. The building is an old one, but it is solid and does the job for us. We have been here for a good number of years now. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and a couple of workstations. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls. We just have what we need to get through the day. We spend a lot of time checking our inventory and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting boxes and moving things around. We don't have a big team, so everyone helps out with everything. If the floor needs sweeping, one of us just grabs a broom. We don't have any complicated systems or corporate policies. We just try to be honest and do our work properly. Sometimes the weather gets really humid, which makes things a bit slow, but we keep at it. We know most of the people who live nearby and we see them when we go out for tea. It’s a very local way of doing things. We aren't looking to be famous or huge. We just want to run a steady business that lasts. The routine stays pretty much the same day in and day out, and we are fine with that.
