Rameshan & Gijo Consultancy Private Limited is up on the third floor of the Trade Centre Building. If you know Yogasala Road in Kannur, you probably pass us all the time. It’s a busy part of town and parking is always a bit of a headache. We’ve got Door No 1562 in Ward 2. It’s not the biggest office, but it fits the desks and the files we need. We spend most of our time looking at paperwork and talking to people about their plans. Rameshan and Gijo started this because they wanted to work for themselves in their own hometown. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just a few of us making sure everything is done right. The building is older, but it works for what we do. People come up the stairs or use the lift if it’s working that day. We see a lot of different faces from all over Kerala. Sometimes the office is quiet and other times everyone is talking at once. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the paperwork piles up. It’s just part of the job. Being on Yogasala Road means we are close to everything. We usually grab lunch at the small shops nearby. It’s a normal office doing normal work. We’ve been here for a while now and most people in the neighborhood know the name. It’s just how things are run here in this part of town. We just keep at it.
