Priyadarshini Hospital

Priyadarshini Hospital is located on Old NCC Road in Payyanur. We have been a part of this community for many years, and the building itself is a familiar sight to anyone who lives around here. It’s a decent-sized place, but it doesn't have any of that modern, sterile feeling you get in the newer city hospitals. The corridors are long and have that specific hospital smell, a mix of cleaning supplies and medicine. We have a small garden area out front that we try to keep tidy, though the grass grows pretty fast in the rain. Most of the nurses and staff are local people, so there is a lot of Malayalam spoken in the halls and everyone seems to know someone else. We don't have any big corporate goals or mission statements posted on the walls. We just do the daily work of seeing patients, checking their vitals, and giving out medicine. The mornings are usually the loudest time of day with the outpatient clinic in full swing. By the evening, things settle down a bit. We’ve had the same furniture in the waiting room for a long time, and it’s seen a lot of people come and go. It’s a simple, reliable place for the people of Payyanur. We don't try to be anything we’re not; we just provide a place for people to get medical help when they need it most.
