Plantarc Builders And Developers Private Limited is run out of Palollickal House. We are located in the Panniamala area of Kottiyoor, which is a bit of a distance into the Kannur district. It’s a beautiful place to live, but it can be a bit of a challenge when you’re trying to get construction materials up the hills. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers, trying to make sure the trucks can get through the narrow roads. Our office is just a part of the house, so it’s a very informal setup. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. If you come by, you’ll probably find us looking over some blueprints on the dining table or out in the yard checking on equipment. We focus on building things that fit into this landscape. It’s mostly local labor we use, guys from the village who know how to work with the stone and timber around here. The monsoon season in Kannur is no joke, so we usually have to plan our building schedules around the heavy rains. It’s a quiet way of doing business, without any big corporate talk. We just focus on the projects we have in front of us and try to make sure everything is done right. People in Kottiyoor know us as neighbors first and builders second, which is how we like it. We keep things plain and simple here.
