Nova Air Conditioning & Cctv Service Center is out here on Mattara Road in Iritty. We do two main things: keep people cool and help them watch their property. It might seem like a weird mix, but it keeps us busy all year round. When it’s not the season for fixing AC units, we are usually climbing ladders to fix CCTV cameras. The shop at 182 Mattara Road is usually filled with tools, copper pipes, and rolls of cat-5 cable. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, honestly. We don’t have a receptionist or anything fancy. Usually, if you come by, you’ll just find one of us with grease on our hands or holding a screwdriver. Iritty is a nice place to work, though the weather can be a bit unpredictable. We do a lot of driving around to different sites. Some days we are at a farmhouse and the next day we are at a small shop in town. We’ve been doing this long enough that we can tell what’s wrong with a compressor just by the sound it makes. Same with the cameras—sometimes it’s just a loose plug or a spider web over the lens. We just provide a basic service for the folks living around here. It’s honest work and it pays the bills. We don't use big words or make fancy promises, we just fix things when they break and move on to the next job.
