Nivil Hospital

Nivil Hospital is located over in Sreekandapuram. It’s a place that stays pretty active throughout the day. We have the main entrance where people park their scooters and cars, and then the long hallway that leads to the different departments. It isn't a very big hospital, but we try to make use of every square inch we have. The floors are scrubbed every morning, but with so many people walking through, they don't stay shiny for very long. We have a mix of regular patient rooms and a small area for more urgent cases. Most of the people who work here live nearby, so there is a lot of local talk happening in the break room. We use a lot of handwritten charts still, which some people might find old-fashioned, but it works for us. The waiting area has some wooden benches that have been here since the place opened. When it rains, the sound on the roof is quite loud, making it hard to hear sometimes. We deal with all sorts of health complaints, and some days are definitely more hectic than others. There is no corporate office telling us what to do; we just manage things as they come. It is just a straightforward hospital serving the folks around Sreekandapuram without any extra fuss or decorations. The nurses are usually running around but they always stop to help someone who looks lost in the corridor.
