Mary Matha Traders

Mary Matha Traders is located at 47 North Paravoor, right in the Ranipuram area. It’s a sturdy building, though it could use a fresh coat of paint one of these years. We focus on the daily stuff that needs to get done. The shutters go up at dawn and don't come down until late. Most of the people around here know us by name, which is how we like it. We handle a lot of different things, so the floor is usually covered in bits of packing tape and stray bits of cardboard. We try to keep it tidy, but business gets in the way sometimes. There’s a small desk in the corner where the accounts get done, but usually, it’s covered in half-empty tea cups and old newspapers. The air can get a bit thick when the rain starts, but we have a couple of good windows that we keep propped open with sticks. We don’t use any big words to describe what we do. We buy things, we store things, and we sell them to people who need them. It’s a basic cycle. The staff has been the same for years, so we all know who is supposed to be doing what without having to talk about it much. It’s a decent place to work if you don't mind getting your hands a little dirty now and then. We just take each day as it comes and try to stay organized.
