Mallabar Spices

Mallabar Spices is located in a place called Ramlas, which is under the Chapparappadavu Post. It is a quiet area compared to the big cities. We are surrounded by a lot of greenery here, which is nice when we are working. We deal mostly with the types of spices that grow well in this climate. Our setup is quite basic. We have a small warehouse area where we keep the dried goods before they get sent out. Most of the people working here are from the nearby village. We don't have a lot of high-tech machinery. A lot of what we do is still done by hand, like checking the seeds and making sure the pods are dry. The weather affects us a lot. When it rains heavily during the monsoon, we have to be extra careful to keep everything dry. The road to the post office can get a bit muddy then. We aren't a corporate company with a lot of rules. We just come in, do our work, and go home. We have been doing this for a while, so we know the local farmers and where to get the best crops. It’s a slow pace of life here in Ramlas. We focus on getting the spices ready without rushing things too much. It’s just us doing what we know how to do best in our own little corner of the world. We like it that way and hope to stay here.
