Kk Builders

We’ve been running Kk Builders out of our place in Rethnavin, Kannur for a while now. It is a small setup, nothing like those big firms you see in the city. Mostly, we just handle local construction jobs for people in the neighborhood or nearby towns in Kerala. If you walk past our office on the main road, you might see some bags of cement or a few tools lying around. We don't have a receptionist or anything fancy. Usually, it is just one of us answering the phone or talking to people who drop by. We do houses, some walls, and maybe a bit of renovation work when someone asks. It gets really hot and humid here, so we try to get most of the heavy lifting done before the sun gets too high. Sometimes the rain in Kerala ruins the schedule, but we just wait it out and start again the next day. We get our materials from the same suppliers we’ve known for years. They know us and we know them. We don’t spend money on big ads or billboards. Most of the folks who hire us heard about us from a cousin or a friend who had some work done last year. It’s just us doing the daily work, keeping the sites moving, and trying to finish things so people can get on with their lives. It’s not a perfect system, but it works for us. We're just happy to be working.
