This office is located in the Kannur district of Kerala, specifically in a place called Thimiri. We work out of the Cherukarakkunnel house, and Martin C J is the person you would usually find here managing things. Thimiri is a lot quieter than the big cities, and the pace of life here is much slower, which we appreciate. The Kerala State Electronics Development Corporation has a presence here to handle the local needs of the region. The house is surrounded by trees and the kind of heavy vegetation you only find in this part of India. It doesn't look like a typical corporate headquarters; it looks like a home because it basically is one. We have converted some of the rooms into workspace for our electronics development tasks. There is always a bit of a struggle with the internet connection when the monsoon rains start hitting hard, but we manage to stay on track. We don't have any polished mission statements or fancy brochures to hand out. We just do the work that needs doing, whether it is fixing a circuit or filing a report for the main office. It is a simple, honest way to make a living, and we enjoy the quiet atmosphere of working in Thimiri. Most of our day is spent at the workbench or on the phone, keeping things moving without any unnecessary drama or attempts to sound like a big company.
