Karuthal Nidhi Limited is based out of Edoor in Aralam Village, which is up in the Kannur area. Our address is AP 1/392. It’s a quiet village, and most people here know each other. We set up this office because people in Aralam needed a place nearby where they could handle their savings without traveling all the way into the main city of Kannur. It saves them time and bus fare. Our office is simple, just some desks and some filing cabinets for the paperwork. We deal with a lot of local farmers and people working in the village. They come in with their passbooks, and we make sure everything is updated correctly. Sometimes we talk about the weather or the crops while we work, as that's just how it is in a small place like this. We don’t use a lot of fancy technology. We prefer to do things in a way that everyone understands. It’s important that people feel comfortable when they come in. We’ve been in Edoor for a while now, and we’ve seen the village change a bit, but our way of working stays the same. We just focus on the daily tasks and making sure the accounts are right. If you’re passing through Aralam Village, you’ll find us easily enough. We are just local people working for our own community, keeping things running as best as we can every day of the week.
