Karthik Traders

Karthik Traders is located at Parvathi Nivas on Kuttikkakam Road in the Nadal Po-Edakkad area. It’s a bit of a trek for some, but the road is decent. We run the business out of this building and it’s been our main base for years. We handle a lot of different trading goods, mostly moving stuff from one place to another. It isn't a massive warehouse, but we make good use of every square inch of space we have. You can usually find a couple of trucks parked nearby getting loaded or unloaded. The staff is just a few local guys who know the routes well. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers and checking on where the shipments are. It’s not the most exciting work, but it keeps us busy from dawn till dusk. The office part of Parvathi Nivas is where all the ledgers are kept. We still write a lot of things down by hand because it feels more reliable that way. When the rain comes down hard, we have to be careful with the stock, making sure everything stays dry. It’s a simple life here in Edakkad. We don’t have a big corporate team, just us trying to make a living and keeping the customers happy with what they bought. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so we try to keep the noise down in the evenings. It is a steady way to spend our days working.
