K M S Store

If you are traveling on the Thaze Chovva Mattannur Road, you will find K M S Store in Chakkarakkal. It’s just a plain building where we sell all sorts of things for the house. I’ve been working here for years now and I know every creak in the floorboards. We get a lot of people who are just passing through on their way to Mattannur. The road is always busy, especially in the mornings. We keep a lot of staples, things people use every day. It’s not a very modern place, but it works for us. I spend most of my time restocking the shelves or checking the inventory. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late and we have to explain to the customers why we’re out of something. It’s just the way things go in a small town. Chakkarakkal is a nice enough place to work, even if it gets a bit noisy with the buses going by. We try to keep the shop clean, but with the door open all day, the dust just comes right in. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us making sure everything runs okay. It’s a simple business, nothing more and nothing less. We just provide what we can to the people who live around here and the ones driving by. It is just an ordinary shop with ordinary things on the shelves.
