Our office is on the second floor of Akkai Tower on Thali Cross Road. We are quite close to the Thali Temple, so we often hear the morning bells or see the crowds heading there for prayers. It is a very busy spot in this part of town. The office is usually cluttered with rolls of blueprints and different building materials we have collected over time. We do a mix of architecture and actual construction, which means we spend half our time in the office and the other half out at various sites. We often end up with dusty shoes by the end of the day. The weather around here can be a bit unpredictable, especially when the monsoon starts, so we spend a lot of time checking the sky before heading out. We are just a small group of people at Greenline Architects And Builders trying to build things that stay up and look decent for the neighbors. We do not have any big corporate slogans or missions. We just look at the land, listen to what people need, and try to draw it up as well as we can. Sometimes the plans have to change many times before the first brick is even laid. That is just a normal part of the job. Being near the temple gives the area a nice atmosphere, even when the traffic on the cross road gets heavy. We usually drink a lot of tea while we argue over the small details of a project.
