Fatima Gold

Fatima Gold is located inside the City Centre Plaza on Bank Road. We are right near the South Indian Bank, which makes it easy for people to find us. The shop is small but we keep it clean and well-lit so you can see the items clearly in the cases. We have glass cases filled with different pieces of jewelry. It’s mostly just me and one other person working here most days. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass and making sure everything is in its right place. Bank Road is always busy with people going to the banks or the other shops in the plaza. We get a mix of people coming in, some just looking and some who know exactly what they want. We don't have any high-pressure sales stuff going on. We just show what we have and answer questions about the weight or the price. Sometimes we have to send pieces out for repair or resizing, which takes a few days to get back. The plaza can get quite crowded on the weekends, so we stay on our toes. We have a small safe in the back where we keep the more expensive stuff. It's a modest business and we've been here long enough that we know many of the other shopkeepers in the City Centre Plaza. We just try to be helpful and keep the shop running smoothly day by day.
