Chayakada Juice Corner

Up here in Mananthavady, Wayanad, the air is often damp and the hills are green. Chayakada Juice Corner is just a simple spot where we serve tea and fresh juice to whoever stops by. We do not have a big building or anything fancy. It is a practical setup that works for us and the people who live around here. Wayanad gets a lot of visitors who are traveling through the hills, so we see many different faces. We spend a lot of our time peeling fruit and boiling water for the tea. The shop is small and sometimes the floor gets a bit muddy when it rains, which happens a lot in this part of the country. We do not have a corporate office or a marketing team. It is just us in the kitchen area making things as they are ordered. We do not use any big words to describe what we do. We just open up in the morning and stay until we are tired. Some days we have a lot of oranges and other days we have more pineapples, it just depends on what is available at the local market. The locals come here to take a break and talk about the weather or the crops. It is a very normal part of the day for us. We do not pretend to be a high-end cafe. We are just a juice corner on a road in Mananthavady.
