We are based out of Kunnath House on Kallumottamkunnu Road. If you know Mananthavady, you know it’s a place where everyone knows everyone else. Our office isn't anything special to look at. It’s just a house converted for our research and education work. We spend a lot of time sitting around the big table talking about what needs to happen next. There are always books and files scattered around. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy when the local traffic picks up outside. We’ve been in this spot for a bit. The road can be a little bumpy after the rains, so we usually tell people to drive slowly. We focus on the work at hand. No big speeches or fancy posters on the walls. Just the basics. Most of the staff live nearby and walk to work. It’s a small community. We drink a lot of tea while we go through our reports. The roof leaks a tiny bit in the corner when it pours, but we put a bucket there and keep on. It’s just part of life here. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. We just do the research and help out with education matters when we can. It’s a steady pace. No one is in a huge rush. We just want to get the details right. The foundation has been here for years, and we plan to stay for many more. It's a decent place to work.
