Card Zone

We are located right up the stairs from the hotel in the Jm Building. If you know the old bus stand area near New Savoury, we are pretty easy to find. It’s just a small place called Card Zone where we spend most of our day. We mostly handle things like wedding invitations and business cards. It’s been here for a while now. My brother and I usually handle everything ourselves. Sometimes the printer acts up and we have to spend an hour fixing the paper feed, but that is just how it goes. People come in with their ideas, sometimes written on a scrap of paper, and we try to get the text lined up right. It gets a bit crowded in here when we have a big order of envelopes to pack. We keep a ledger where we write down all the orders by hand so we don't forget anything. We don't have fancy sofas or air conditioning that works all the time, but the tea shop downstairs is good and we stay busy. We have samples of different types of paper boards hanging on the walls so folks can touch them and see what they like. Most of our customers are from the neighborhood or people passing by the bus stand who need something printed quickly. It’s noisy because of the traffic outside, but we like being in this part of town. We just focus on getting the ink on the paper clearly and making sure the names are spelled right before we hit print.
