We set up shop in the Dilkush Complex on Dhanalakshmi Road, which most people know as being on the South Bazar Road. We’re right opposite the Amani Auditorium. We do both the inside and the outside of buildings, which keeps us pretty busy year-round. Some days we’re worried about the paint on the exterior because of the monsoon, and other days we’re inside trying to get a cabinet to fit into a crooked corner. That’s just how building things goes in Kannur. Our office is a simple space where we meet clients and drink tea while looking at floor plans. We’ve been in the South Bazar area long enough to know where to get the best supplies and which workers are reliable. We aren't big on marketing ourselves; we just do the work and usually, the next job comes from someone who saw what we did down the street. It’s a lot of dusty work and checking measurements twice. We handle the whole process from the first sketch to the final coat of paint. It’s not always a smooth ride, as things often go wrong on site, but we stay there until it’s sorted out. We like being near the auditorium because it’s a landmark everyone knows. If you’re passing by South Bazar, you can usually find one of us in the office or nearby. We just keep things practical and local because that is what we know.
