If you find yourself in the Velammayyil area of Kannur, you might come across our place at Mp Iii/20. We call the building Sayoojyam. It’s where we run Anaarah Impex Concierge Private Limited. It’s a bit of a mix of things we do here. Some days it’s all about the import and export side of things, and other days we are helping people with various concierge-style requests. It’s not a huge office with a lobby. It’s more of a home-grown setup where we handle everything ourselves. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking emails to make sure things are moving through the ports like they should. We don’t have a marketing team or anything polished. We just write down what needs doing and we do it. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desks at Sayoojyam, but we eventually clear it all out. It’s a quiet enough spot to focus, but close enough to the main parts of Kannur to keep us in the loop with the local trade and transport systems.
