Abdul Salam

My name is Abdul Salam and I run things here at Al Salam Buildings in Thazhe Chovva. This place has been in the family for a while. It’s a busy spot right in the heart of the area. People are always coming by to ask about space or just to say hello. Thazhe Chovva is a good community and we’ve been part of it for many years. The buildings aren't brand new, but we keep them up the best we can. There is always a leak to fix or some paint that needs touching up. I spend a lot of my day walking around the property or sitting in the small office area. It’s a straightforward business. We don't have a big marketing team or anything. Most people find us by word of mouth or just by seeing the sign. We like to keep things fair and simple. Dealing with tenants and maintenance takes up most of the time. It’s a local operation through and through. If you walk past Al Salam Buildings, you’ll likely see me or one of the guys working on something. We don't make a big fuss about what we do. We just provide a place for people and their businesses. It’s a long day sometimes, but it’s good work. We have been here for years and plan to stay.
