Paliwal Sanitary Ware

Our shop is located in Kannod, right near the State Bank of India building. It’s a convenient spot in Dewas for people to find us. We sell all kinds of sanitary ware, like washbasins, toilets, and bathroom fittings. Paliwal Sanitary Ware has been a fixture in this neighborhood for a long time. The shop is usually filled with white ceramic items reflecting the light, which makes it look brighter than it actually is. We have stacks of boxes everywhere, and it can be a bit of a challenge to walk through the aisles without bumping into something. My brother and I manage the daily operations. We don't have a big staff, so we do everything from unloading the trucks to helping customers pick out a faucet. People come from the nearby villages because they know we have a decent selection and won't give them a hard time. Sometimes a delivery arrives with broken pieces, which is always frustrating and eats into our day. We don't do any fancy advertising or have a big social media presence. We just rely on being here every day and helping people find what they need for their homes. The bank next door is always busy, so there are always people walking past our window. We usually have a tea break around four o'clock when things slow down a bit. It’s a simple life running a shop, and we’re happy to be part of the community here.
