Our company, Staney Construction Private Limited, is situated in a place called Pallam Post near Nagercoil. If you’re looking for us, we’re at 6/116 on North Street. This is right down in the Kanyakumari district, almost at the very bottom of the country. Being on North Street means we’re part of a small, local community. It is a lot different from the big cities like Chennai or even Madurai. The air is a bit saltier here because we are close to the coast, and the pace of life is much slower than up north. Our office is a simple one, nothing too fancy, just some desks and chairs where we handle all the work. We spend our days managing various construction projects around the area. It is a lot of hard work, especially with the humidity we get down here. Most of our crew are locals who have been with us for a long time. We don't really do much in the way of advertising; people just know us from the work we have done over the years. Sometimes the monsoon rains make things difficult and we have to put everything on hold, but that is just part of the cycle here. We’re usually in the office from early morning until the evening, making sure everything is on track. It is a quiet life for the most part, but there is always plenty to keep us busy at the 6/116 address on North Street. That’s basically our day-to-day existence down here.
