Down in Kanyakumari, in a place called Sahayanagar, you will find us. We are at No: 8-68B, in the Church House building. It’s right near the Sahaya Nagar Post. Our company is Sahaya Annai Nidhi Limited. Like most Nidhi companies, we deal with the community and their savings. It’s a very local thing. The building is an old one, but it’s sturdy and keeps the rain out. We have a few desks and some cupboards for all the files we have to keep. Being in Kanyakumari district, it’s usually quite breezy. We like the location because everyone knows the Church House. It makes it easy for people to find us when they need to deposit or talk about their accounts. We don’t have a marketing department or anything fancy. We just talk to the people who walk through the door. Most of them are our neighbors anyway. We have a small sign outside so you don’t miss it. The routine is the same every day. We open up, check the books, and wait for the visitors to come by. It’s a slow and steady kind of life. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. Just a local Nidhi office serving the folks around Sahayanagar. Sometimes the postman drops by for a chat and a cup of tea. It’s that kind of place. Simple and grounded.
