Our place is down in Marthandam, specifically on North Street in the Mulluvilai area. We’ve been at 2/11/7 for a good bit of time now. It’s a quiet part of Kanyakumari compared to the big cities, but we stay busy with the custom clothing work. People come to us when they need something specific made. We don't just churn out the same thing over and over. Radhas Custom Apparel Private Limited is really just a group of us who know how to sew and fit clothes. We spend most of our mornings getting the machines ready and checking the latest requests that came in. The Unnamalaikadai area is where we all live and work, so we know most of the folks around here. It's a local operation. Sometimes the power goes out or the weather gets too hot, but we manage to keep the work moving. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Tamil Nadu. We just want to make sure the shirts and trousers we finish are decent. We don't have a receptionist or a big lobby. You just walk in and see us working. It's a bit dusty sometimes with all the thread and fabric bits, but that's how a real workshop looks. We focus on the measurements and the fabric quality. It's honest work and it keeps us going here in the south. We've been here long enough that the building feels like a second home to most of our staff.
