Down in Nagercoil, in the Kanyakumari district, we have our setup for Qatar Meta Coats. It’s quite a way down south in Tamil Nadu, and the vibe is very different from the big cities. The air is different here, and things move a bit slower, which we don't mind. Our office is a simple building where we handle the coating and metalwork details. We have a lot of samples lying around—different pieces of metal with various finishes. The floor is concrete, and we have some big windows to let in the light, though they usually stay closed to keep the dust out. Most of the people working here are locals from around Nagercoil. We speak a mix of languages and usually share snacks in the afternoon. It’s not a high-tech environment with glowing screens everywhere. It’s more about the physical work and making sure the coatings are done right. We have a couple of old fans that keep the air moving during the humid afternoons. Qatar Meta Coats might sound like a big international name, but here in Kanyakumari, we’re just a small team trying to get the orders out on time. We don't put on airs or try to impress anyone with fancy brochures. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in our work shirts, likely drinking tea and looking over a shipment list. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living in a beautiful part of the country.
