We are set up at 9-35B1 on Market Street in Azhappapuram. That’s down in Kanyakumari. Being on Market Street means there is always something going on outside our windows. We are a Nidhi company, so we deal with the community’s savings. It’s a very local thing. We know the shopkeepers and the farmers who come in. The office is pretty basic. We have some wooden desks and old-fashioned ledgers. We think it’s better to keep things simple. People trust us because we are right here in the neighborhood. We don't have any corporate headquarters in a big city far away. It’s just us in this small building. We spend our days counting cash, filling out forms, and talking to the people who walk through the door. Sometimes it’s busy, sometimes it’s quiet enough to hear the birds outside. We don't use any fancy sales pitches. If someone wants to save, we show them the options. If they need a loan, we see if we can help. It’s all about the local people helping each other out. We’ve been here for a while and plan to stay. Kanyakumari is a special place, and we are glad to be part of the daily life in Azhappapuram. It’s just a regular office doing regular work for regular folks. Nothing fancy about it at all. We just open the doors and get to work every day. It's a living and it helps the town folks out a bit when they need it most.
