Our little spot is over in Christopher Nager in Peruvilai. It’s not in the middle of a big city, which suits us just fine. We have a small sign outside. The address is 1-56/D7 if you're looking for it. We work with gold, mostly doing the artistic side of things. It’s a lot of sitting at a bench with small tools. My hands are usually a bit dirty from the polishing compounds. We don't have a showroom with fancy lighting. It’s more of a workshop feel here. Sometimes the neighbors pop in just to chat for a bit. It’s that kind of neighborhood. We try to get things done on time, but manual work takes as long as it takes. You can’t rush it. We’ve had this place for some time now. The floor is concrete and the walls are just plain white. We don't need much else. When the rain comes down hard, it makes a lot of noise on the roof, and we have to shout a bit to be heard. It’s a simple life. We make jewelry, we talk to the locals, and we keep things moving. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words. We just do the work and hope the pieces turn out the way they should. The village vibe here is much better than being stuck in a crowded city center.
